Recency:

The CAR's require Biennial refresher training to keep your license valid. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways, including getting a new license or rating, but the most common method is to complete the Flight Crew Recency Requirements, Self-Paced Study Program found in the Aviation Safety Letter.
