SOSA Gliding Club is always interested in introducing gliding to people, particularly to young people who want to learn to fly. The club was invited to put a glider on display at the Flamborough, Ontario YMCA in October. |
| For the Y's Fall Fun Fair, held on a Saturday morning in late October, we rigged Juliet Romeo, one of SOSA's club-owned fleet, on the Flamborough YMCA lawn. Visitors couldn't possibly avoid seeing the aircraft and we answered as many questions as they could throw our way. The glider was an instant hit, and we handed out as many brochures as we could handle. |
