Just a reminder to the newer members that the club does not really shut down for the winter. As long as the runway in good condition (i.e. not too wet and not too much snow) and the weather is acceptable, there may be a limited flying operation running on the weekends. Check the yahoo groups for updates.
Adding to the fun, this winter we have a winch on a field and we are now up to 109 launches over the 3 weekends in Dec and everybody is really enjoying it.
We are getting a pretty consistent 1100-1300 foot launches, with the best launches to 1600 which is pretty good for our runway.
