Youth Bursary Program
Enabling youth in Canada to participate and learn the sport of gliding by helping to reduce flying costs
Each year, SOSA partners with The Soaring Association of Canada (SAC) to offer a monetary bursary to club members under the age of 25, to be used on flying activities with the goal of maximizing flying training opportunities for young adults.
Overview
SOSA’s bursary program is designed to support young members in advancing their flying skills and making the most of the soaring season.
Open to eligible members under 21, or up to 25 for those in full-time education as of January 1st, the bursary helps offset the cost of flying activities and encourages continued progress in training.
