Introduction to Gliding
Spring 2021 Ground School
Introduction to Gliding will be delivered in an interactive and entertaining learning format by a variety of experienced SOSA instructors. Participants who have not had experience with powered or powerless flight will become aware of what flying is all about and what it's like to be a member of the SOSA gliding community. In addition, the material covered qualifies for 8 hours of ground school instruction, which is half of the requirement for the Glider Pilot License, and so experienced glider pilots will also benefit from the program.
