Introduction to Gliding Online Classes
Spring 2022
Attn: Sales for the 2022 Spring Ground School have now closed. Please visit the new Intro to Gliding Classes page for information on upcoming courses.
Introduction to Gliding will be delivered in an interactive and entertaining learning format by a variety of experienced SOSA instructors over Zoom.
Participants who have not had experience with powered or powerless flight will learn what flying is all about, and what it's like to be a member of the SOSA gliding community. In addition, the material covered qualifies for 8 hours of ground school instruction, which is half of the requirement for the Glider Pilot License, and so experienced glider pilots will also benefit from the program.
