There are two upcoming events to help promoting flying for women. Check this out.
The first one is the Women Fly-in at Kitchener-Waterloo. The fly-in will be hosted between 03-09/March this year. For more details: http://www.wwflightcentre.com/participants.html
The second is the WSPA (Women Soaring Pilot's Association) annual seminar, to be hosted in Ontario next summer (July 21-25)
WSPA also gives out several $750 bursaries that very few people apply for. They suggested us to advertise these bursaries to our members (one is for a women working towards solo, one is for a women working on an advanced rating like motor glider, aerobatics, or tow pilot, one is to cover the costs from entering a contest etc.) It costs $20 to join WSPA and bursary applications are due by May.
