November winch operation - 17/Nov

Last Friday Nov 17th we had a beautiful day with over 15ºC temperature and several members took the opportunity to try the new winch rope.

Those who were able to join the operation managed to have 32 launches, reaching up to 1100ft height. In comparison, the prior week and with stronger head wind (20kts) we reached about 1300-1400ft.

Snow is coming our way, but as it happened on previous years, we plan to continue the operation throughout the winter, thanks to the winch.

Pulling wires through to the rear panel of SOSA's new Duo XL. Of course, this involves opening up the beast and staring into the depths. Fortunately, the conduits are large and easily accessible so what could have been a miserable job didn't take too long at all.

At the after picture of the SOSA Duo instrument panels we can see the LX9050 with 9050D in the rear panel, V9 vario and Becker AR6201 radio. Powerflarm Core to be mounted behind the panel and traffic displayed through the V9 and 9050 screens.
